How do I Export Contacts?

DartPro exports a group's contacts to your Google Contacts. Use it to back up a list or to have it on your phone.

Export a Group to Google Contacts

1. Open the Group

   • Click Groups in the left sidebar and open the group you want to export.

2. Start the Export

   • Click Export to Google.

3. Sign In to Google

   • Choose your Google account and allow DartPro to view and manage your contacts.

4. Wait for the Export

   • You return to the group's page, which shows Export in Progress.... The export runs in the background, so large groups take longer.

When it finishes, the contacts appear in Google Contacts.

What Gets Exported

Title, gender and group membership aren't exported.

⚠️ Exporting twice creates duplicates

Each export adds new entries to Google Contacts. If you export the same group again, use Merge & fix in Google Contacts to combine the duplicates.

Exporting All Your Contacts

Export works one group at a time. To export everyone, first add all your contacts to one group (see How do I Manage Group Members?), then export that group.

Downloading a File

DartPro can't download contacts as a spreadsheet yet. Developers can read contacts and group members with the Contacts API and Groups API.
