How do I Change Channel Settings?
Settings holds options that apply to the whole channel. Owners and administrators can open it.
Most settings save as soon as you change them. Changes to branding take effect when the current video finishes playing.
Open Settings
In the channel menu, click Settings. Channel Settings opens, with these sections:
| Section | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Channel Logo Sting | A short logo video played between rotation videos. See How do I Use a Logo Sting? |
| Watermark Positioning and Watermark Assets | Your logo or text on top of the stream. See How do I Add a Watermark? |
| Live Stream Poster | The banner on your watch page when you aren't broadcasting live. See How do I Set a Poster and Banners? |
| Share Link | Your watch page link. See How do I Share My Watch Page? |
| Privacy & Access | Who can watch. See Public or Private |
| Subscription Plan | Your plan, renewal date, extending and changing plan. See Subscription Plan |
| Stream Output Resolutions | The qualities the channel broadcasts in. See Stream Output Resolutions |
| Auto-Cleanup | Tidy finished broadcasts off the schedule. See Auto-Cleanup |
| Danger Zone | Delete the channel. See Delete a Channel |
Public or Private
Under Privacy & Access, use the switch to choose who can watch on your watch page.
| Status | Who can watch |
|---|---|
| PUBLIC | Anyone with the link |
| PRIVATE | Anyone signed in to a Cecula account. Everyone else sees This channel is private. Please sign in to watch. |
A private channel is open to every signed-in Cecula user, not only your team. New channels are public.
Stream Output Resolutions
Stream Output Resolutions lists the resolutions your plan supports, each with a switch:
| Resolution | Label |
|---|---|
| 1080p | Full HD |
| 720p | HD |
| 540p | Standard |
| 480p | SD |
| 360p | Medium |
| 240p | Low |
- What viewers get: players choose among the resolutions that are switched on, to suit each viewer's connection. Switching off the higher ones lowers the best quality viewers can get.
- At least one: one resolution must stay on. The last one can't be switched off.
- New channels: start with every resolution their plan supports switched on.
Auto-Cleanup
When Auto-Cleanup is ON, broadcasts are removed from the Schedule list once they've finished airing, which keeps the schedule short. It's OFF for new channels.
Subscription Plan
Subscription Plan shows:
- the plan and its price for your billing cycle
- the status: ACTIVE or EXPIRED
- the Renewal Date
It also has these buttons:
- Extend Plan (or Renew Plan) to pay for another period
- Change Plan to move to a higher plan
Only the channel owner can complete these payments. See How do Channel Subscriptions Work?.

Owners and administrators can change settings. Editors and viewers don't see Settings in the channel menu. Deleting the channel and paying for the plan are for the owner only. See Roles.
