Integrations
Integrations let your own website or app show what's on your channel and react when shows start and end.
| Tool | What it does | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| Channel API | Public, read-only data about what's on now, your schedule, Catchup, programs and episodes | How do I Use the Channel API? |
| Webhooks | Cecula Stream sends a message to your server when a show starts, ends or is about to start | How do I Set Up Webhooks? |
| HLS link and embed | Plays your channel in your own player | How do I Embed the Player? |
Open Integration
In the channel menu, click Integration. Integrations has two tabs:
- API Reference: every endpoint, already filled in with your channel's address. Each shows an example request in cURL, JavaScript, Python, PHP, Java or Node.js, and an example response. Your language choice is remembered.
- Webhooks: your webhook address and the events to send.
Owners and administrators can open Integration.
Your Channel and Program IDs
- Channel UUID: a long ID such as
3f6c2a1e-8b7d-4c1a-9e2f-5d4b3a2c1f0e. It's in every endpoint address on the API Reference tab, and in your browser's address bar when you're in the channel (/channels/…/overview). - Channel slug: the program endpoints also accept it, such as
luma-tv. - Program ID: a number. It's in the browser's address bar on a program's page (
/programs/…). On the API Reference tab, Preview with programme fills it into the episodes endpoint.
