How do I Add Team Members?
The channel owner can invite people to help run the channel. Each team member signs in with their own Cecula account and has a role that decides what they can do. The channel appears on their My Channels screen.
Only the owner can manage the team.

Invite a Team Member
- In the channel menu, click Team.
- Under Invite Team Member, enter the person's email in Invitee Email Address.
- Choose their role in Access Level (Role). Editor is selected by default.
- Click Send Invitation.
The invitation appears under Pending Invitations. The person receives an email. If they already have a Cecula account, they also get a notification in Cecula Stream.
You can't change a role after sending an invitation. To give someone a different role, cancel the invitation or revoke their access, then invite them again.
| Message | Cause |
|---|---|
| The channel owner cannot be invited as a manager. | The email belongs to you, the owner |
| This user is already a manager of this channel. | They're already on the team |
| An invitation is already pending for this email address. | They haven't answered an earlier invitation yet |
Accept an Invitation
If you've been invited, you can answer in either of these places:
- The invitation email: open the link in it. If you aren't signed in, you're asked to sign in, or to create a Cecula account if your email doesn't have one yet. The invitation then shows the channel, who invited you and your role. Click Accept Invitation or Decline.
- My Channels: under Pending Manager Invitations, click Accept or Decline on the invitation.
Sign in with the email address the invitation was sent to. With any other account, the link shows This invitation was sent to a different email address.
After you accept, the channel appears on your My Channels screen, and the owner gets an email and a notification. Declining removes the invitation.
Pending Invitations
Invitations that haven't been answered are listed under Pending Invitations on Team, with the email, role and status PENDING.
To withdraw one, click Cancel next to it, then confirm. The link in the email stops working.
Revoke Access
- Under Active Team members, click the delete icon next to the person.
- Confirm.
Cecula Stream confirms Access revoked/cancelled for the person, and they lose access to the channel straight away.
Things to Know
- Only the owner invites. Administrators, editors and viewers can't add or remove team members.
- Storage alerts go to the team. When the channel runs out of storage, every team member is emailed as well as the owner.
- Expiry locks everyone out. While the subscription is expired, team members can open only the Overview.
